My Apple computer is too old to edit 4K video so I was looking for a less expensive solution for editing video from my new DJI phantom 4 pro.Īfter playing with lumafusion on my iPad I decided I would upgrade to an 12.9” iPad Pro and just use lumafusion to edit video. I edit video as a hobby and make zero money doing it.

There is a learning curve when coming from PC but if you have basic video editing skills it shouldn't take too long to figure out.
LumaFusion is by far the best video editing app for a mobile platform. Lwblackstone's Review of Lumafusion Reviewed on 8/3/18 7:07 PM It’s close star star star star star_border

then reboots from the beginning and try’s again from the beginning of the video.Įventually, it crashes! Why?! So I upload the software from scratch, after deleting it from my 2018 IPad, thinking that this will help my situation and Bam! It does it again. Many times it fails and then try’s again to upload the data respectively and freezes. It renders the files beautifully, but when uploading it takes a day 24 hours to upload the files if it ever goes through. Why is this software not working properly? My videos are between 5 minuets and 25 minuets long when uploading to YouTube. What has happened to the software Luma Touch LLC? Now, I have been unable to upload any new video’s, via WiFi with any success! When I first purchased Luma Fusion some months ago all was well with HD and 4K uploads. but hey stop updating if the update is gonna break it. They are small mostly, but loss of sync to audio by even half a second is noticeable! Forget adding new features until the basics are fixed! This is my go to video editor and one of my top 5 favorite apps. Exporting it multiple times with no changes on the editor produces different results every time. I export it to hear audio pops and see the video isn’t matching people’s lips.
I love this app, but audio pops that are not on the actual track and having the audio in an imported video lose sync from it’s audio when it’s not detached is unacceptable. Great app!!! Love love love it!! An essential on my devices.
However, this is a mobile app so for desktop users it may be a limitation, but when you remember you’re on a phone you realize it’s a big great feauture. like a lil mobile Final Cut Pro with some limitations (like 3 simultaneous video and 3 audio tracks) that are very easy to get around. It’s my go-to and I tell everyone to get it. The update is great: no audio pops and it really does deserve 5 stars again. The Issue was FIXED! :) star star star star starīrandon Aqua's Review of Lumafusion Reviewed on 9/19/18 2:47 AM If I didn't use it so much it probably would get a 3 simply because of the price versus these above issues, that should be pretty standard in this day and age for a video editing app. Especially when clip grouping has been on the developers "to do list" for a few years now. For the price point tho, this should be FAR better than it is. You can only choose a limited number of filters and often they will stack since there isn't a preview section. Meaning you light have found a sweet spot, but end up having edit while "on rails". the sliders on a lot of the edit functions often don't have an option. It's a b***** if you have a different workflow and actually hinders creativity. you CANNOT group and edit clips once you've cut a clip into sections so your work flow must ALWAYS involve resizing, filtering, etc be for cutting and editing. Welsed's Review of Lumafusion Reviewed on 9/22/18 8:58 AM Overall, it is a fantastic app, and I’m nit-picking here. Especially have the share icon look like Apple’s.Ģ) Graphic design could look more smooth and simplified to resemble the rest of iOS.ģ) I would love it if add-ons like SPECIAL EFFECTS could be added!Ĥ) Manually typing in values (like contrast, brightness, etc) would be a true PRO feature!ĥ) Have the title bar fade away after a few seconds by itself when editing would be fantastic.Ħ) Being able to add more layers would always be welcomed.ħ) Some people might like a light mode with a light gray background. It is fantastic, but there would be a few little things I’d tweak/add:ġ) The icons could be rearranged/made a little more clear. You can crop, twirl, move, slide, flip, reverse, and do so many things to your video! Color grading? Yep. This has got to be one of my favorite apps-worth every cent! Remember how if you leave an iMovie project, it’s saved, but you have to restart again and find that project? Not so with LumaFusion! Ok, so there are some things in FinalCut Pro and the like that you simply can’t do on a mobile operating system, but this program sure pushes the limits of iOS!
